'UKIP Leader Nigel Farage MEP speak out on the future of the British pub.'

Standing up for our pubs

Pub sign with the words closing down on it

39 UK pubs a week closing. Save jobs and save our pubs!

  • UKIP won the fight to keep the pint - no EU half-litres to shortchange you!
  • Support traditional beers - cut tax on real ales.
  • Let the landlord decide whether to allow separate smoking rooms.

The UK Independence Party supports our landlords, real ale and the traditional British pub.  A pub is a safe and secure environment for people to drink in; pubs cannot legally serve alcohol to people who are drunk.  The main problem from alcohol-related violence is nothing to do with pubs, but street drinking that takes place in a less controlled environment.  Therefore we believe that the government should stop waging war on the great British pub.  Please sign our petition to Save The British Pub.  You can also download a campaign poster to put up in your local pub.
